Date: Tue, 7 Dec 2004 02:19:21 Subject: Nick Hornby, About a Boy Hi! I finished reading Nick Hornby's About a Boy last Thursday, so half a week late review this time. This is a very good book. It's the other book for the course I had, but if I had started reading it for some other reason I would have finished it since it is both interesting, funny and made me curious what would happen next. I have also downloaded the movie, but not seen yet. The book has 307 pages. Since it's a fiction novel i will not give away too much of the content, but the main characters are 12 year old Marcus and 36 year old Will. Marcus first want Will to date his depressed mother, but neither of them seem interested. Instead he, in his own way, try himself to make friends with Will. There are also some other persons involved, but most of the book concerns the relation between those two. I recognized parts of myself in both Marcus and Will, if you have/will read it you could easily see why.
